今年夏天，免費電影重返Union Square。
週四，San Francisco市長羅偉宣佈啟動「Cinema on the Square」第二季。「Cinema on the Square」是去年推出的免費電影放映活動。
「Cinema on the Square」今夏放映五部電影，從6月20日週六「KPop Demon Hunters」開始。這一免費電影放映活動是San Francisco市中心以及Union Square和Yerba Buena地區更廣泛復興計畫的內容。
「Union Square有著令人難以置信的購物和令人興奮的免費活動，正變得生機勃勃。擴大 ‘Cinema on the Square’ 將帶來更多可用能量，」市長羅偉說。「這個地區正變得更安全、更清潔、更有活力。如果你正尋找一個很棒的家庭活動，6月20日跳上纜車、拿起乒乓球拍和觀看KPop Demon Hunters。」
除了「KPop Demon Hunters」 ，今夏「Cinema on the Square」還將放映：
·6月27日，驕傲主題電影「The Birdcage」
·7月25日，San Francisco題材Disney電影「The Princess Diaries」
·8月29日，「Pokeman Detective Pikachu」-慶祝World Pokeman Championships
· 9月26日，在Union Square取景的經典電影「The Conversation」
所有電影週六晚放映，從日落開始，放映前活動包括日落前兩小時的表演和酒吧品酒等。該電影放映活動由Union Square與Office of Economic and Workforce Development、Recreation and Parks Department和Biederman Redevelopment Ventures Corporation合作舉辦。
Alamo Drafthouse和Bank of America也提供支持。
