經濟部免費海外徵才活動：2021美國線上攬才Job Fair 9月開跑。
美國向來為台灣重要外資及技術來源國，為協助國內企業延攬產業發展關鍵領域人才，經濟部自2013年起，每年均委託外貿協會籌組「經濟部赴美攬才團」，於美國重點城市巡迴辦理「企業與人才一對一媒合會」，協助臺灣廠商尋找合適的高階科技人才，包含鴻海集團、台積電、聯發科、台達電子、華碩、台灣美光、鈺創科技、工研院、資策會、中華電信、台新金控、玉山銀行、兆豐銀行及大江生醫等企業均曾透過本活動進行攬才。
本(2021)年度受到COVID-19疫情影響，無法組團赴海外辦理實體攬才活動。因此，外貿協會特針對美國市場，辦理為期1個月的線上攬才展，協助臺灣業者廣徵海外人才履歷，加強招募技術、研發、業務、行銷及管理專業人才，以提升國內企業的國際競爭力。
「2021美國線上攬才Job Fair」訂於9月1日至30日，針對舊金山及洛杉磯地區專業人才強力宣傳臺灣企業徵才資訊，參加的臺灣廠商涵蓋半導體產業、ICT產業、電腦周邊產業、製造業、金融服務業、生醫製材業等，廣邀美國人才及臺灣留學生踴躍在線上投遞履歷，打破時區與地區隔閡，進行零距離的線上交流。

”2021 Virtual Taiwan Job Fair in the USA” Starting in September
In the needs of Taiwanese businesses for trade talents based overseas, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) was tasked by the Department of Investment Services, Ministry of Economic Affairs, to organize the “2021 Virtual Taiwan Job Fair in the USA” to help Taiwanese manufacturers find suitable high-level technology talent.
Through this event, over 30 Taiwanese companies participated inducing Foxconn Technology Group, TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), MTK (MediaTek Inc), Delta Electronics, ASUS, Micron Technology, Inc., Etron Technology, Inc, ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute), III (Institute for Information Industry), Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd., Taishin Financial Holding Co., Ltd., E.Sun Commercial Bank, Ltd., Mega Bank, TCI Co. Ltd., and other companies have recruited high-level talent accordingly.
Jobs in such fields as semiconductors, electrical and electronics engineering, ICT, precision machinery, financing and legal services industries, etc. are in demand in Taiwan. Among those hired were advanced R&D engineers and management specialists with international trade skills. Industry insiders were calling for the strengthening of Taiwan’s R&D capability. They believed that by expanding R&D operations and further hiring of crucial talents Taiwan could reach a certain level of sustainable economic development.
The “2021 Virtual Taiwan Job Fair in the USA” will be held from September 1 to 30, targeting San Francisco and Los Angeles area professionals to promote Taiwan companies’ job opportunities. The Taiwan companies participating in the event cover the semiconductor industry, ICT industry, peripheral computer industry, manufacturing industry, financial service industry, biomedical material industry, etc. We invite the U.S. and talented Taiwanese students to submit their resumes online to break the time zone and regional barrier and have a zero-distance online exchange.
