房價高高高，開車堵堵堵 – 這基本上就是灣區人民的生存現狀。

灣區的司機已經對塞車習以為常了，但灣區的「堵」還是發展到了一種新境界：早上堵，晚上堵，早晚都堵，爭當第一堵。

週一 (10/3)，大都會交通委員會(MTC) 發佈了一份新報告，公佈2015年灣區10個最堵塞的高速公路路段和時段，而傍晚高峰期出San Franciso的東向80號州際公路 (I-80) 成為去年灣區最堵的一段路。

根據報告，從101號公路 (US-101) 和208號州際公路 (I-280) 交換路口到金銀島 (Treasure Island) 的短短六英哩路需要開上一小時。

在週一報告發佈之前，西行I-80從Hercules到San Francisco路段是通勤者的頭痛之王。雖然今年退居第二名，但它創造了歷史：它成為唯一一段從早堵到晚的公路 (從上午5:35至下午7:50)。

不過報告中最搶眼的是，從East San Jose走I-680到Cupertino的I-280的早晨通勤路段，它在2014年僅排名第二十，去年卻飆升到第三。

前谷地交通局國道規劃處處長John Ristow說：「過去高速公路塞車你總可找到時段去避免，但現在擁擠時段已經是上午變得更早，傍晚變得更晚，想避也越來越難。」

San Mateo橋以南有六條高速公路名列最擁堵路段前十，南灣有3個路段進入前十名，而2014年只有一個。但I-680/280路段卻因一年之間超戲劇性的躍升，而變成去年最有名塞車路段。

MTC在報告中將「繁忙」或「堵塞交通」定義為行車速度低於每小時35英里。這是二十多年來MTC第二次發佈對灣區高速公路塞車狀況調查的報告。
