安徽碭山嗩吶樂團應舊金山亞裔傳統慶祝街會籌委會與亞洲周刊基金會(Asia Week Foundation)之邀，將於明天 (5/17)上午參加開幕遊行隊伍，並於下午一時在亞洲風貌文化舞台上展現傳統嗩吶樂曲。樂團ㄧ行有四位藝術家與兩位陪同官方代表，在街節展場設有攤位

Chinese Intangible Culture Heritage – Tangshan Suona Music

碭山縣位於中國安徽省境內，享有“中國嗩吶之鄉、世界梨都”等美譽，碭山縣具有悠久的歷史和傳統文化的精髓，碭山縣的嗩吶藝術團表演為中華傳統文化的發揚和傳承做出了突出的貢獻。

Tangshan County, located in northern Anhui Province China, enjoys the international reputation as “The Home of Chinese Suona Music” and “The Pear Capital of the World”. Tangshan County occupies a unique position in the history of China and its cultural traditions. Tangshan County Suona Ensemble fulfills its special missions by spreading the footprint of traditional Chinese arts and heritage all around the world.

傳承七百餘年的碭山嗩吶藝術，特別是流傳於當地及皖、蘇、魯、豫四省接壤廣大區域的優秀傳統嗩吶曲牌，經過數十代造詣頗深的民間嗩吶藝人口傳心授，形成了具有獨特皖北風格的民間藝術形式，被國內知名音樂家讚譽為“來自黃河故道的天籟之音”。

Tangshan Suona music is an art form with 700+ years heritage, particularly popular in local and around the borders of Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan province. The traditional suona music has been distilled from wide varieties of folk tunes, and techniques passed down from generation to generation of folk suona artists. This northern Anhui style of music stands out as a unique folk art tradition, often praised by renown musicologists as “the echo of nature from the ancient Yellow River passage”.

2010年11月，碭山嗩吶被批准列為國家級非物質文化遺產保護名錄。

In November 2011, Tangshan Suona is recognized as Chinese Intangible Culture Heritage, eligible for special preservation effort.

2013年12月31日，碭山嗩吶應邀參加了中國藝術家協會舉辦的“2014全球新年聯誼會”，碭山嗩吶被授予“中華文化突出貢獻獎”；碭山縣被授予“中國嗩吶之鄉”。

In December 31st, 2013, Tangshan Suona Ensemble was invited by China Artist Association to join the 2014 Global New Year Celebration party, during which Tangshan Suona Ensemble was awarded for its special contribution to the Chinese Culture Promotion while Tangshan County is officially declared to be the Home of Chinese Suona Music.
