Nissan強化灣區華人社區的投入和努力

金秋九月的第一個周末恰逢中秋,許多人與家人和好友一起參加了San Francisco 24屆年度中國城中秋節活動,遊客們也興趣盎然,共同體驗音樂表演、藝術和工藝品展覽、美食飲料。文化展覽和有趣活動帶來的歡樂。

Nissan在這次中秋節上設立了自己的展位,慶祝亞裔美國人社區的多樣性。 Nissan舉辦家庭活動、贈送特別獎品以及展示最新型號的創新型汽車—Nissan Leaf和Nissan Altima. Nissan展位上最受人歡迎的活動是免費抽獎贏取一輛Nissan Leaf-美國最暢銷的電動汽車。展位前擠滿了訪客,他們搶著填寫信息為自己爭取壹次贏的機會。

Nissan’s West Region總經理Jason Yang參加了本周末的中秋節活動,向訪客介紹這兩款最受歡迎的車型。作為Nissan首批華人經理之一,他解釋了他們為什麽在華人社區如此成功的原因,並指出該公司仍在堅持不懈地投身華人社區。

Nissan Leaf是美國最暢銷—和成本效益的—100% 電動汽車。美國亞裔美國人人口占人口總數只有5%,但他們購買的Nissan Leaf的數量占到全國總銷量的26%強。美國人平均一天駕車33英裏。Nissan Leaf 一天跑的距離超過這一數據的兩倍多,與燃料汽車相比,Leaf無需進行日常煙油維護檢查。

Nissan increases engagement and investment in Bay Area’s Chinese Communities

During the first weekend of September, families, friends, and tourists attended San Francisco’s 24th Annual Chinatown Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with musical performances, arts and crafts booths, food and drink, cultural exhibits and fun.

Nissan hosted its own booth at the festival, celebrating diversity in the Asian American community by hosting family activities, giving away special prizes, and showcasing the brand’s latest line-up of innovative vehicles—the Nissan Leaf and Nissan Altima. The most popular activity at the booth by-far was the free raffle to win a Nissan Leaf, the best-selling electric vehicle in the United States. Tables were filled with visitors scrambling to fill out their information at a chance to win.

General Manager of Nissan’s West Region, Jason Yang, attended the festival this weekend to explain the car company’s two most popular models. As one of Nissan’s first Chinese managers, he explained why they are so successful within the Chinese community, and still working to increase engagement even further.

The Nissan Leaf is the USA’s best selling—and cost-effective—100% electric drive car. The US Asian-American population is only 5% of the nation, but these communities also make up more than 26% of Nissan’s nationwide sales. The average American drives only 33 miles a day. The Nissan Leaf runs more than twice that distance at an average of 84 gallons per charge on its lithium-ion battery. And compared to fuel-run vehicles, the Leaf requires none of the routine smog and oil maintenance checks. The Nissan Leaf charges in a custom charging dock installed within your home garage, as well as standard ChargePoint® electric vehicle charging stations found everywhere across the country.

The Nissan Leaf also features the latest in-vehicle technologies: CARWINGS® information system, Around View® Monitor which shows a virtual bird’s-eye-view of the car for easier parking, built-in Nissan navigation system, drive range and energy usage, nearby charging station locator, Pandora and SiriusXM Radio, and hands-free texting assistant for safer on-the-road messaging.

General Manager Jason Yang’s message on behalf of Nissan Motors was this: “Nissan is investing in the Chinese community. The Bay Area is an extremely important region, with top numbers of commuting drivers everyday—Nissan wants to be there for you as your friend.”
