1月6日周一San Mateo 縣交通局的Daly City市 Bayshore 接駁車服務正式啟動。Daly City 新上任的市長David Canepa於Bayshore 社區活動中心周一早晨11點主持開幕儀式致詞，表揚幫助Bayshore接駁車計劃能夠實現的市議員們以及多位計劃支持者。Canepa表示，Bayshore接駁車幹線並不只是一項交通工具，它帶動了Daly City城市社區的交流，促進人們的互動，增加了商業機會及潛力。此接駁車服務是免費的，路線由Bayshore 到Serramonte Center，中間站包括許多當地的商家，診所以及Seton醫療中心。這項接駁車方案經費來自San Mateo縣交通局，是Daly City市的測試計劃，若運作順利，將來有擴展的可能性。開幕儀式在剪綵與眾賓賀喜中圓滿落幕。市長Canepa熱衷地宣佈”這是歷史性的壯舉，接駁車今天起會在Daly City 市穿梭。”

San Mateo Transportation Authority launches Daly City Bayshore Shuttle

“A shuttle is only as good as its ridership,” said Daly City Mayor David Canepa at this Monday’s launch ceremony of the San Mateo County Transportation Authority’s Daly City Bayshore Shuttle service. 11 am in the morning at the Bayshore Community Center, newly appointed Daly City Mayor David Canepa made several acknowledgements to individuals in the community and members of City Council who helped make this entire project come to life. Canepa explained that the Bayshore Shuttle is more than just a public transportation service, and that the utility will open possibilities and opportunities previously unattainable to many Daly City residents. The shuttle provides free service between Bayshore and Serramonte Center with trips to local stores, clinics and Seton Medical Center. The entire project is a pilot program of the City of Daly City, and is funded by the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. As a crowd watched the cutting of the large red ribbon on the first shuttle bus, Mayor Canepa announced, “It’s historic, this shuttle will now ride through Daly City.”
