各位司機，注意！如果在San Francisco超速行駛，8月5日週二起，你得付出代價。
San Francisco市測速攝像頭專案3月20日啟動。自6月安裝最後一個攝像頭後，作為兩個月寬限期的一部分，San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority（SFMTA）僅向司機發出警告。
據SFMTA，週二起，超速司機將被罰款50至500元，具體取決於速度、甚至收入。
San Francisco是加州第一個實施這項技術的城市。它在33個地點安裝了56個測速攝像頭。
罰款多少？
·超過限速11-15英里/小時，50元（低收入，25元；公共援助，10元）
·超過限速16-25英里/小時，100元（低收入，50元；公共援助，20元）
·超過限速26+英里/小時，200元（低收入，100元；公共援助，40元）
·超過限速100英里/小時或以上，500元（低收入，250元；公共援助，100元）
罰款金額由 California Assembly Bill 645設定。

SFMTA街道主管Viktoria Wise5月說：「這背後的想法不是向人們收錢或用罰單懲罰他們。而是要求人們改變行為。」
SFMTA將從攝像頭專案獲得收入。它在2026-2027財年面臨3.2億元預算赤字。
SFMTA表示，在發生致命行人事故多年後，他們對一些問題最嚴重的十字路口採取額外預防措施，試圖提高安全性。
測速攝像頭試點專案將於2030年3月結束。
