在Esparto一個煙花倉庫發生爆炸後，北加州一些城市取消7月4日煙花秀。
Cal Fire表示，週二Devastating Pyrotechnics發生大規模爆炸，7人下落不明。
Yolo縣居民報告稱，爆炸發生時數英里內都感受到衝擊波並看到煙霧。爆炸導致倉庫幾座建築起火，還引發一場80英畝草地大火。
Esparto消防官員在週三新聞發佈會上透露，兩人在火災中受傷。
爆炸後破壞程度尚不清楚。但事件發生後，一些城市取消7月4日煙花秀。
截至週三下午，被宣佈停止的Independence Day煙花秀如下：
-Cloverdale的Annual Chuck Sibert Pyro Spectacular。
-Lodi Lake Fireworks Show.
-San Jose煙花秀。但城市官員表示，他們在Lake Cunningham的遊行按計畫進行。
-Yuba Sutter在Marysville的7月4日煙花秀。
-Silver Dollar Speedway的Fast Cars and Freedom活動，Chico。
-The fireworks show after the races at the Placerville Speedway. Races will still go on.
