電子遊戲巨頭Nintendo在San Francisco Union Square的最新旗艦店週四開業。在Mario背景下，San Francisco市長羅偉與Nintendo北美總裁Dog Bowser一起為這家位於331 Powell Street的店剪綵。
Union Square店是Nintendo美國第二家店。第一家店開在紐約市Rockefeller Center。
在一樓，粉絲可找到最喜歡角色的獨家玩具和商品。粉絲還可以下樓玩新遊戲和經典遊戲。
在Union Square及其週邊地區幾家店已關閉或宣佈關閉計畫之際，Nintendo店開業對Union Square地區商業是一個提升。
上週，Saks Fifth Avenue關閉位於Post Street和Powell Street拐角處的店。今年初，Bloomingdales在San Francisco Centre的店關閉，使得這家陷入困境的購物中心不再有主力店。
Nintendo表示，由於預計大批粉絲湧入，進San Francisco店需預約，直到週日；Memorial Day週末到店也需預約。
