洋蔥來自在Colorado Springs的一家設施，主要在中西部和山區各州約900家麥當勞門店Quarter Pounder中使用。
麥當勞對疫情的應對
麥當勞迅速從受影響門店撤下洋蔥片，並無限期停止從Taylor Farms Colorado設施採購。
Colorado農業部的檢測證實，牛肉餅不含大腸桿菌。因此，麥當勞重新供應現在不含洋蔥片的Quarter Pounder是安全的。
