San Mateo 新增穿梭巴士線路  提升公共交通服務

為更好滿足San Mateo縣交通需求，Transportation Authority使用Measure A Local Shuttle Program資金增加五條新穿梭巴士線路，提升全縣高流量通道的公共交通服務。第六條線路在8月開始服務。

Skyline College Express連接Skyline校園和Daly City BART站，為學生提供一個更有效的交通選擇。這條穿梭巴士線路由San Mateo Community College District發起。由於出行人流越來越大，這一線路為師生們又提供一個出行線路選擇。師生們以前從Daly City BART站返校需要45分鐘的時間。

County Park Explorer為East Palo Alto、East Menlo Park和North Fair Oaks居民提供一個前往Redwood City的Edgewood County Park和Woodside的Wunderlich County Park的機會。San Mateo縣Parks Department本週末發起這條線路， 為弱勢社區提供並鼓勵他們充分利用San Mateo縣的公園。此前，這兩個公園在公共交通通達性上均表現不足。

Coastside Beach Shuttle為海岸居民提供前往Half Moon Bay美麗海灘的一個新出行選擇。由San Mateo縣發起，這條週末穿梭巴士線路從Poplar State Beach到Pillar Point Harbor，並與Downtown Main Street有連接。

San Carlos市增加了兩條穿梭巴士線路：San Carlos Commuter穿梭巴士將從Holly到Industrial到Quarry到Old County迴圈運行，將San Carlos加鐵車站與Palo Alto Medical Center和城市東側員工連接起來。另外，San Carlos Community穿梭巴士線路連接Eaton Park街區和Carlmont高中以及加鐵，為大約5000名學生出行帶來方便，減輕Alameda de las Pulgas沿線交通流量壓力。San Carlos市發起了這兩條穿梭巴士線路，SamTrans也是San Carlos Community穿梭巴士線路的聯合發起人。

Connect San Mateo預計2017年8月開始服務，它從1st Avnue上的San Mateo市區駛往North Shoreview再到North Central，然後回到市區。這條線路由SamTrans和San Mateo市共同發起，屬於Connect San Mateo專案內容。

這些新增線路使得Transportation Authority出資的穿梭巴士線路增加到38條。所有這些線路的資金均來自Measure A資金和發起機構的共同撥款。TA在2016年5月批准了這些新線路。
