News for Chinese offers internships to college and university students who major in Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism and Advertising Marketing. Internships are unpaid and require enrollment in an academic internship program.
- Graphic Design Intern
The Graphic Department at News for Chinese seeks an intern. Duties involve with paper & online Graphic Design.
Candidates must have excellent graphic Design skills. Prefer someone studying Graphic or web design major and who is able to write, type, and read Chinese- Mandarin.
Skill requirement: InDesign, Phtoshop, Illustrator, Corel drew.

- News department seeks Chinese-speaking (pref. Mandarin) intern.
Duties include internet research; follow up calls on assignment stories, possible news translation. The intern needs to be available in the mornings and afternoons at least 2 weekdays a week.
Requires concurrent enrollment in an academic internship program and someone who has excellent Verbal and Communication skills. Requires majoring in Communications, Journalism and someone who can both speak and write in Chinese – preferably Mandarin.

The Marketing department of News for Chinese seeks an intern. Internship will take place in the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters.
Duties involve coordination of on-line community calendars for Marketing and News Departments.
The intern needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prefer someone majoring in communications and who speaks, writes, types and reads Chinese – Mandarin.
Requirements: Concurrent enrollment in an academic internship program.
Position is unpaid, typically working Monday thru Friday 10-6 schedule.
